MERJE is seeking a highly experienced Risk Assessment Lead for a leading company in the Lending - Consumer sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive risk management practices and regulatory compliance within the Chief Operating Office. The Role

As a Risk Assessment Lead, you'll be at the forefront of regulatory developments and risk exposure management. This role offers the chance to educate and influence leadership, ensure timely implementation of regulatory changes, and lead risk assessment practices across the Chief Operating Office.

Key Responsibilities of the Risk Assessment Lead:

  • Lead risk assessment best practices and adherence to Group Standards for COO
  • Manage regulatory projects and assess risk impact from change projects
  • Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships internally and externally
  • Participate in industry forums and foster relations with industry bodies
  • Provide expertise on risk management within financial services

Required knowledge and experience for the Risk Assessment Lead role:

  • Minimum 8 years of financial services experience, including 5 years in credit cards
  • At least 3 years' experience in a senior risk manager role
  • In-depth knowledge of risk management and regulatory requirements in financial services
  • Excellent stakeholder management and analytical skills
  • Proven track record in risk assessment and impactful influencing
