Systems and Field Engineer

Your Role:

  • Start in a primarily desk-based role with more field work over time.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and networks.
  • Take ownership of client cases from start to finish, including planning and executing field visits.
  • Design customer solutions, develop procedures, and generate documentation.

Is This You?

  • Eager to learn, adaptable, and proactive in staying current with technology trends.
  • Keen problem-solver with a broad technical interest (experience in IT is a plus but not required).
  • Personable, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a knack for customer service.
  • Reside within London and possess a driving license (licence and vehicle access preferred but not mandatory).

Ideal but Not Required:

  • Experience with server and networking hardware, ITIL methodologies, and dynamic routing protocols.
  • Certifications like LAIT/CCNA/CCNP or experience with Linux/Windows administration are a bonus.
