Great opportunity for a senior engineer who has at least 6 years' UK experience in design development, structural analysis, documentation and detailing on a variety of projects to join our client, a global interdisciplinary consultancy aspiring to create sustainable and impactful work through creative engineering.

Brief responsibilities:

  • Structural engineering design and preparation of design and construction documents, liaising with internal and external teams
  • Review structural engineering documents to ensure code compliance
  • Develop structural engineering design concepts incorporating planning, architectural, engineering and other systems
  • Proactively manage workload to meet project deadlines and manage team's time effectively
  • Assist more junior team members in preparation of drawings, and engineering design and analysis

Requirements:

  • Masters in structural engineering
  • At least 6 years' relevant UK experience
  • Exhibits initiative, problem solving, quality decision making and high attention to detail
  • Team leader who actively collaborates, critically and constructively evaluating ideas
  • Good knowledge of site planning, civil & structural engineering and building codes
