Our client, a leading non-profit organisation specialising in climate adaptation and mitigation solutions, is currently recruiting for a Senior Structural Engineer in their London office. Whilst you will be based in London, our client offers the flexibility of working from home 3 to 4 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead transformative projects in climate adaptation and sustainability.
- Mentor junior engineers and guide them through their professional development.
- Apply expertise in structural analysis and CAD design to deliver low-cost, sustainable infrastructure projects.
- Utilise sustainable materials such as bamboo to build resilient infrastructure.
- Manage significant projects from conception to completion, ensuring high standards and project timelines are met (which will mean travel to Africa).
What We're Looking For:
- Extensive experience in structural engineering, with a strong background in CAD design and structural analysis.
- Passion for using sustainable materials, like bamboo, to create innovative and eco-friendly infrastructure.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in mentoring junior engineers and managing projects.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach to tackling complex engineering challenges.
