I am partnering with a leading FM Service provider. They are looking for an experienced Mobile Building Services Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join their team, providing high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial properties. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer with a multi-skilled background to work in a dynamic and varied role, ensuring buildings operate efficiently and safely.

As a mobile engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining electrical and mechanical building services across multiple client sites, delivering excellent service while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, including lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and small installations.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in HVAC systems, plumbing, and basic mechanical plant where required.
  • Perform safety inspections, testing, and compliance checks, including fire alarm testing, emergency lighting checks, and electrical inspections (EICR).
  • Work closely with site contacts, providing a professional and customer-focused service at all times.
  • Accurately complete service reports and documentation in line with company procedures.
  • Assist with minor installation and project works as needed.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and company policies.
  • Participate in an on-call rota to provide emergency maintenance cover outside normal working hours.

Requirements:

  • C&G / NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations
  • 18th Edition
  • C&G 2391 (desirable)
  • Full UK License (No more than 6 points)
