Early Years Practitioner

Seeking an Early Years Practitioner with either a CACHE / NVQ, BTEC diploma level 2 or 3 in early years education or BA degree in early years education from either UK or overseas university.

Alternatively, Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) qualification or Montessori teaching qualification and has previous supervisory or room leader experience and experience working with children.

Starting salary: 27,000- 35,000pa + excellent further training and career progression opportunities, paid holidays will be provided.

Job Description:

Duties and responsibilities include working with children within early years education and the early years curriculum, EYFS, planning and implementing creative and learning activities for children, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times. Leading room activities and supervising children, Playing games, carrying out observations, and updating records, going on trips to places of interest such as parks and theatre, nature walks. Interacting with parents and families and updating them on child's progress.
