Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging care, play, and learning programmes tailored to children's developmental needs.
- Provide a stimulating and secure environment, respecting children's cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Build strong relationships with parents, sharing regular updates on children's progress and attending termly Parent's Day.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times, following school policies and emergency procedures.
- Observe and document children's development, maintaining accurate records and producing detailed reports.
- Collaborate with staff and external professionals to ensure the highest standards of care and education.
- Support the day-to-day running of the school, including equipment management and maintaining hygiene standards.
Requirements:
- Montessori Teaching Qualification (essential).
- Knowledge of the Montessori curriculum and philosophy.
- Early Years Teaching Degree (preferred).
- At least 1 year's experience working with children under 5.
- Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
- A passion for creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
