GSL Education is seeking an experienced and compassionate SEND Primary Teacher to join a supportive team in Camberwell. This role is ideal for educators committed to making a real difference in a specialised primary setting.
As a SEND Primary Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with SEMH, moderate learning difficulties (MLD), and other SEND requirements.
- Create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment that supports academic and personal development.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other staff to implement personalised education and behaviour support plans.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, adapting strategies to ensure effective learning.
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience working with primary-aged students in an SEND-focused setting.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A compassionate, resilient, and proactive approach to teaching.
