Your new companyYour new role working as an International Property Binder Underwriter will be working for a Lloyd's Insurer who pride themselves on being an innovative organisation who put their clients first. They are an employer of choice and are a leading market name in the Insurance Industry. Due to expansion and growth within their International Delegated Authority Property team (particularly in US markets), a position for an International Property Binder Underwriter has arisen.Your new roleYour new job working as an International Property Binder Underwriter will require you to report into the Group Head of DA Property. Duties will include Underwriting new and renewal property binders, exercising judgement in all underwriting matters, and remaining aware of your own underwriting limits as set out on the underwriting authority sheet, ensuring the effective management of property binders including performance, EPI monitoring, referrals, bordereaux management, rate movement, claims trends, regular reviews, underwriter visits, and audits. You will have a strong understanding of US DA markets and understand how complex underwriting a Binder/ Delegated Authority risk is. You'll have proven market knowledge and strong client/ Broker contacts. What you'll need to succeedYour previous experience working as an International Property Binder Underwriter will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have advanced knowledge of the International Commercial property business including liability associated with commercial property business.
