Your new companyYour new company specialist are an independent, Lloyd's Syndicate, who are a young, dynamic and growing company with a reach of handling all classes of business within anumber of territories, including Europe, Australia and North America. Due to expansion within their Property team, your new Loyd's syndicate is looking to expand their US Property portfolio. They have ambitious goals and are looking for someone to play a key role in achieving them. This opportunity would suit an ambitious US Property BinderUnderwriter with experience and who is looking for their next challenge working as a Class Underwriter.Your new roleYour new job working as a US Property Binder Underwriter is a hugely exciting opportunity for any candidate who wants to join a growing Lloyd's Syndicate, which is in growth mode. This new opportunity will require you to underwrite, analyse and continue to develop the US Property Account in line with the Annual Business Plan targets.You will be required to deal with an existing portfolio of US clients as well as lead new business onboarding and renewal processes for their relevant US property binding authority account. Further duties will include identifying new business opportunities within existing portfolios as well as new sources, collaborating on cross-class initiatives with other teams, assisting in marketplace monitoring and developing relationships with brokers and key stakeholders. Maintaining strong relationships with cover holders and brokers is essential. Other duties will include handling the day-to-day referral underwriting within individual authority parameters, assisting in executing business development and marketing plans, leading client meetings and executing follow-up research and actions etc.What you'll need to succeedYour previous experience working as a US Property Underwriter dealing with Binding Authorities will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have proven underwriting experience within the US property (delegated authority) space, understanding of the property market in the US, and an understanding of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of property underwriting and binding authority management.You will ideally be ACII qualified or working towards completion. You will also have excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, an ability to offer creative solutions, a professional attitude when dealing with all aspects of work and client relationships, and commitment to the needs of clients and strong relationship management skills.What you'll get in returnYou'll be offered a competitive salary up to £130,000 depending on experience + bonus and LTIP, as well as an excellent benefits package , flexible working is available.
