Logistics / Marine / Shipment Coordinator

Belcan Workforce Solutions is offering a 12-month contract for a Marine / Shipment Coordinator with a multinational oil and gas corporation in London. This full-time, on-site role involves coordinating and implementing safe, efficient, and cost-effective dispatch and voyage operations of chartered vessels. You will manage terminal/refinery inventory, lifting, and delivery schedules for crude and petroleum products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate cargo operations and scheduling.
  • Manage third-party equipment contracts.
  • Generate scheduling orders and ensure proper vetting of marine equipment.
  • Issue voyage orders and letters of indemnity.
  • Optimise fleet operations for cost reductions.
  • Provide accurate schedule and voyage information to stakeholders.
  • Arrange bunker supply for time-chartered vessels.
  • Support long-range planning and refinery turnarounds.
  • Resolve billing disputes and minimise demurrage losses.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • Marine Commercial experience in freight operations and risk management.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and leadership abilities.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Knowledge of marine logistics.
