We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team at a forward-thinking Alternative Provision. Our provision offers a fresh start to pupils aged 11-16 who cannot attend mainstream school for various reasons, including being at risk of permanent exclusion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Support: Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons by preparing resources and materials.
  • Student Engagement: Provide targeted support to individuals or small groups to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.
  • Music Production: Use your expertise in music production to inspire creativity and foster positive learning experiences.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers and other LSAs to share best practices and strategies for student success.
  • Team Contribution: Participate actively in team meetings, contributing to discussions about student progress and interventions.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience or qualifications in music production.
  • Previous experience working with young people, ideally in a school or alternative provision.
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting students with additional needs or challenging behaviour.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
