We are delighted to be supporting this client, a high-achieving secondary school in Tower Hamlets, in their search for an exceptional Music Teacher to join their dedicated team. This full-time position starts in January 2025 and offers a competitive salary on the London MPS/UPS scale.

The Role

As a Music Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and creative Music lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess students' progress, inspiring a love for music and performance.
  • Contribute to the vibrant extra-curricular program, including musical performances and events.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain the school's excellent standards in Music education.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a relevant degree in Music or related field.
  • Have experience teaching Music at Key Stages 3 and 4 in a UK school setting.
  • Be passionate about developing students' musical talents and encouraging creative expression.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.
  • Be a team player, willing to contribute to the department's development and extra-curricular activities.
