You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that cover a wide range of musical skills, helping students develop their talents and appreciation for the arts. This role is ideal for a versatile educator who is enthusiastic about both music and stage productions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in Music forKey Stage 2, and 3students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
  • Teach a variety of musical styles and techniques, including performance, theory, and music history.
  • Organize and assist lead extracurricular activities, such as school concerts, art exhibitions, and music clubs.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and departments to integrate arts across the curriculum.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience teaching Music, ideally across different year groups.
  • Grade 6+ Piano trained and well versed with other musical instruments.
  • Strong subject knowledge, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
  • Passion for music education

Desirable:

  • Experience in organising school concerts, productions, composing music.
  • Knowledge of diverse musical genres
