You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that cover a wide range of musical skills, helping students develop their talents and appreciation for the arts. This role is ideal for a versatile educator who is enthusiastic about both music and stage productions.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in Music forKey Stage 2, and 3students.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
Teach a variety of musical styles and techniques, including performance, theory, and music history.
Organize and assist lead extracurricular activities, such as school concerts, art exhibitions, and music clubs.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Collaborate with other teachers and departments to integrate arts across the curriculum.

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience teaching Music, ideally across different year groups.
Grade 6+ Piano trained and well versed with other musical instruments.
Strong subject knowledge, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
Passion for music education

Desirable:

Experience in organising school concerts, productions, composing music.
Knowledge of diverse musical genres
