Interim Waste Contract Monitoring Officer

Southeast of England - 3 days onsite per week

Panoramic Associates is currently working with a Local Authority client based in the Southeast of England to facilitate the appointment of a Waste Contract Monitoring Officer on an interim basis for an initial 6 months.

This role will involve overseeing and monitoring the current waste management contracts within the local authority.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Monitoring and evaluating waste management service delivery against contract specifications
  • Liaising with service providers and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and performance standards are met
  • Analysing data and preparing reports on contract performance
  • Implementing corrective actions and improvements as needed

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Experience in waste management or environmental services.
  • Public sector experience desirable.
  • Strong contract management and monitoring skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • A keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills
