Are you a hospitality professional with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences? We are seeking a Night Duty Manager to oversee overnight operations at our prestigious 5-star hotel.
About the Role:
As Night Duty Manager, you will be the senior leader on-site, ensuring the smooth running of the hotel during nighttime hours. You must be able to act on behalf of the general manager during his/her absence. You will be responsible for guest satisfaction, security, and operational excellence, working closely with the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Security teams to maintain our high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the hotel's night operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
- Lead and support the Front Office and Night teams, maintaining efficiency and professionalism.
- Handle guest queries, requests, and VIP arrivals with discretion and care.
- Ensure hotel safety and security, managing incidents and emergency procedures. Being part of the ERT (Emergency response team)
- Conduct night audits, monitor financial transactions, and assist with end-of-day reports.
- Work closely with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure service excellence.
- Train, mentor, and supervise night staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Ensure Rotas are well prepapred in advance and checked weekely to ensure it reflects the business needs
About You:
- Previous experience in a Night Manager or Duty Manager or Front desk manager within a luxury hotel.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and guest relations skills.
- Excellent knowledge of hotel operations, front office systems, and night audits.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle guest concerns professionally.
- A proactive approach with attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Strong knowledge of health & safety and hotel security procedures.
- Additional Lanquage spoken desired (but not essential)
