- Permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week contract Monday-Sunday. 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts.
Night Manager Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the guests have exceptional service during the night providing comfort and security.
- Completing the night audit every day, identifying and correcting any mistakes.
- Ensure that the service offered to the guest is personal and memorable, that guest needs are anticipated and requests followed up. Build relationships and loyalty with guests, ensuring that they want to return to the hotel. Connect with guests at every possible opportunity.
- Ensure all regular and VIP guests are known and cared for accordingly.
- Handle, follow up, seek closure and communicate any guest comments or complaints. Pass on to relevant HODs.
- Ensure all messages received for guests are passed on accurately and as quickly as possible.
- Lead by example, motivate and direct the Night team in the execution of their duties to maximise operational efficiency. This includes training and development, performance management, monthly departmental meetings and regular appraisals
- Duty Manager shifts
Required
- At least 2 years experience working in a 5* luxury hotel front office department role
- Experience with supervising/managing a team
- Fully flexible attitude towards work. Able to cover the occasional day shift depending on the business needs
Desired
- Have worked to Forbes standards
- Knowledge of Opera Cloud and MICROS
- Strong area knowledge of central London and local attractions
You will be reporting to the Front Office Manager within the operations department of the hotel.
