Night Manager

Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is seeking a Night Manager who will be responsible for assisting and ensuring the night audit procedures are completed on a nightly basis and ensuring the safety and security of the complex in the absence of Senior Management.

The Night Manager Key Responsibilities will include:

• Managing the Front of House Operations during the Night shift, including, but not limited to ensuring staffing levels are adequate within all Departments to fulfil all departmental duties required such as Room Service, Concierge, Kitchen, Switchboard, Security, Shift Engineer and the Bar.
• Supporting the Night Auditors and Reception ensuring the maintenance of high standards at the Reception Desk.
• To assist with the traffic management within the lobby minimising disturbances.
• To organise and control the administration and operation of book-outs when required.
• Ensuring sufficient stocks and supplies are available to properly perform required nightly procedures.
• Patrol and management of the public areas and exterior to ensure cleanliness and safety.

The Experience & Qualifications for Night Manager:

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
• Confident individual who is adept in prioritising and managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to take the initiative and deal with unexpected situations and last minute changes.
• Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential data.

The successful candidate will be:

• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, resourceful with excellent attention to detail
• Demonstrate excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills with the customers and other hotel departments
• Team worker
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment
