Our client, is a leading common law Barristers’ Chambers based in EC4, London, seeks an experienced marketing professional to lead and develop its marketing strategy, strengthen its brand, and enhance client engagement. Chambers is known for its excellence across civil, family, and criminal law, with a modern and client-focused approach.
The Role
This pivotal position involves shaping and delivering a comprehensive marketing strategy to enhance chambers' reputation and visibility. Key responsibilities include:
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement marketing initiatives, both traditional and digital, to align with business goals.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity across all platforms.
- Client Engagement: Strengthen relationships through targeted marketing campaigns and events.
- Directories & Awards: Manage legal directory submissions and identify award opportunities.
- Conferences & exhibitions: coordinate, manage and occasionally attend conferences organised by external organisations.
- Content & Digital Marketing: Oversee SEO, social media, PPC, and content creation to drive engagement.
- Event Planning: Organise and attend seminars, conferences, webinars, and networking events to position chambers as a thought leader.
- Team & Budget Management: Supervise a marketing assistant and oversee the marketing budget for cost-effective impact.
The Person
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- At least 5 years in a senior marketing role, ideally in legal or professional services.
- Strong understanding of the legal industry and its marketing dynamics.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, analytics tools, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with LEX and WordPress is advantageous.
