Role overview:This is a fast-paced role within the mental health team at HMP Brixton. You’ll deliver frontline mental health care to adult male inmates, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess, treat, and support individuals in a secure environment.
Key duties:

Mental health triage and assessments

Medication administration and monitoring

Crisis intervention and risk management
-
Supporting continuity of care and discharge planning

Collaborative work with prison staff and external services
Requirements:

NMC registration (RMN)

Previous prison, forensic or acute mental health experience preferred

Ability to work across a 24/7 rota including nights and weekends

Enhanced prison vetting (or willingness to undergo clearance)
