Mental Health Nurse

Atlantis Medical is looking for mental health nurses to cover shifts in various departments across the Acute Trust where the Multi-Disciplinary Team have identified that a Registered Mental Health Nurse is required to provide care to patients with complex and enduring mental health needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Cover shifts across departments for patients with complex mental health needs.
• Proficient in the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards 2008.
• Use Trust policy tools for managing challenging behavior and cognitive impairments.
• Maintain strong communication with patients, carers, and relatives.
• Ensure clear and accurate clinical and care records are maintained.
• Aid in managing daily living activities under nurse in charge's direction.

Experience Required:

• Requires at least 6 months of post-registration NHS experience in a mental health setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to supervise and support team members, with essential traits of reliability, confidence, and commitment.
