Location: Nursery School, London

Position Level: Assistant Headteacher / Deputy Head

Working Pattern: Full-time (with 2 days per week until 6 PM)

Contract Type: Interim

Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Interim Senior Leader to join our nursery school in London. This role is at the Assistant Headteacher / Deputy Head level and involves working closely with the new SENCo and Executive Headteacher to manage the day-to-day operations of the school.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily running of the nursery school
  • Collaborate with the SENCo and Executive Headteacher
  • Arrange cover for staff absences
  • Ensure high standards of teaching and learning
  • Support staff development and training
  • Engage with parents and the wider community
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within an educational setting
  • Strong organisational and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies
