Nursery Deputy Manager

Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of a unique arts-based term-time Nursery based near Camberwell, London. They are looking to recruit a passionate and experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join their friendly team in helping shape the learning experiences for the children at the nursery.

Essentials

  • Level 3/4 CACHE Childcare qualification or equivalent
  • Significant experience of leading in a nursery.
  • Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Knowledge of SEND, Autism, and speech & language skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Tapestry and Wellcomm Speech & Language Assessment Criteria
  • A proactive and caring individual with a love for education and the arts

Key Responsibilities

  • Build meaningful relationships with children and their families
  • Create a stimulating and safe learning environment
  • Support daily routines and activities, including circle time and music
  • Promote the well-being and development of every child
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all safeguarding policies
