Change Partner (HR Change Management)

This for our client who are a leading domestic insurance company. This will be on a short term contract, Inside IR35 and based working out of London, once a week onsite, turning to two days in the new year.

Reports to: Director of Employee Relations and Change

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Change Partner to join our HR team as we embark on a large-scale transformation. In this role, you will lead and manage consultations related to organizational changes, including headcount reduction and other restructuring initiatives. You will work closely with various business units, getting up to speed quickly to deliver impactful change programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • * Lead consultation processes, including headcount reduction, restructuring, and other change management initiatives.
  • * Quickly familiarize yourself with internal processes such as pooling, desktop exercises, and relevant business areas.
  • * Work collaboratively with the HR Change team to execute change initiatives and provide strategic HR support.
  • * Ensure all consultations are compliant with employment law and internal policies.
  • * Support senior management in decision-making regarding the consultation process, providing insights and recommendations.
  • * Liaise with the employee representative body (ERB) and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and consultation.
  • * Ensure a fair, transparent, and legally compliant consultation process for all employees involved.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • * Extensive experience in HR, with a strong focus on change management and leading consultation processes.
  • * Solid understanding of employment law, particularly regarding organizational change and restructuring.
  • * Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale consultations at pace, delivering timely and effective outcomes.
  • * Experience within the financial services or insurance sector (preferred but not essential).
  • * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organization.

Preferred Attributes:

  • * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • * Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • * Experience with employee relations (ER) issues, including grievance and disciplinary processes, is an advantage.
