HR Business Partner

Lewisham

£34 per hour (umbrella)

Full Time Contract (3 Months)

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a HR Business Partner in Lewisham. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.

The job:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and departmental leaders, offering strategic HR guidance aligned with organizational objectives
  • Lead on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, grievance and disciplinary processes, and consultation procedures, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and compliance with employment laws
  • Set and monitor performance targets for both direct reports and partnered departments, providing guidance on talent management, succession planning, and staff development
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of HR professionals, promoting best practices in HR service delivery and ensuring team alignment with organizational goals and HR service standards
  • Develop and execute HR policies and business partnering strategies that support organizational change, workforce planning, and employee engagement initiatives

The candidate:

  • CIPD Level 7 is desirable
  • Experience in Business Partnering and Employee relations is essential
  • Experience working in a similar position for a local authority is highly desirable
