Your new companyYou will be working for a global media company based in Central London.This role will operate on a hybrid working model with the expectation to be in their London offices 3 days per week with the remaining 2 days as WFH.Your new roleYou will be working as a HR Business Partner on a 10 month contract to cover a maternity leave.You will serve as a strategic partner to leaders, employees and managers, focused on enhancing leadership capability, enabling excellence in their people and fostering an innovative culture to drive business outcomes.Some duties will include:

  • Develop strategic partnerships with Business leaders to provide thought leadership regarding change management, organisational strategy and execution that's aligned with business strategies.
  • Design and execute strategic people initiatives, including employee engagement, leadership coaching and development, organizational design, team effectiveness, and more.
  • Provide best in class HR expertise to develop programs, processes and systems, and educate the business on HR service offerings and products.
  • Provide executive level coaching that is direct, precise, and actionable, ultimately enabling and developing leadership.
  • Manage and resolve escalated complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations in a consistent, empathetic, and legally sound manner when needed.
  • Showcase your compensation and total rewards skills by keenly analyzing compensation needs and partnering across Centers of Excellence to create win/win solutions.
  • Support major organizational initiatives across the HR matrix as needed.
  • Works closely with leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Partner and leverage COEs and HR Shared Services to implement HR programs and drive efficiency
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge of employment law requirements to ensure the company remains compliant.
  • Identify and action areas for improvement, standardization and other opportunities that establish best in class HR services and brand.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
