The Role

This HR Business Partner role is part of an international HR team, reporting to the Global Head of HR and directly managing an HR Assistant and HR Advisor. Covering the UK, USA, and EMEA regions, you will provide high-level, hands-on HR support, manage employee relations, and ensure best practices in recruitment, onboarding, and employee development. This position requires a proactive approach to HR strategy implementation and relationship-building within the London office and beyond. This is a pivotal role and you will be a key part of the team.

Key Responsibilities

- Build strong relationships with senior leadership, including the Executive Team.

- Oversee employee relations, provide expert guidance on investigations and disciplinary processes.

- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement activities across UK, USA, and EMEA.

- Support HR strategy implementation, focusing on performance management and high-performance culture.

- Handle HRIS management and support global alignment of employee benefits.

- Coordinate with in-house legal for compliance with complex regulatory landscapes in the UK, USA, and EMEA.

- Lead initiatives on career mapping, succession planning, and employee development.

Key Skills and Qualifications

- Strong experience as an HR Business Partner within Financial Services.

- Proficiency in UK Financial Services Regulations, especially SM&CR and Conduct Rules.

- Experienced in HRIS and benefits portals.

- CIPD Level 5 or 7 certification.

Person Specification

- Proactive, can-do attitude with excellent communication skills.

- A trusted advisor with strong integrity, judgement, and confidentiality.

- Ability to mentor junior team members and work collaboratively with other support functions.

Essential:

- 3-5 years’ experience in a relevant HR Business Partner role, ideally in a fast-paced international environment.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and support senior stakeholders effectively.- Experience with Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) regulations
