Job Title: HR Business Partner

To whom Responsible: HR Manager

Hours: Working Monday to Friday, Term Time Only, Plus Five Flexible Days (39 working weeks per year, paid for 44.6 weeks per year)

Location: London area, field-based with some hybrid working. It is our preference that the candidate is located within the M25 and is able to commute to and support our schools within Home Counties.

The Job:

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and driven HR Business Partner to join our London Operational team.

This is a true partnering role, working collaboratively with our Operational Team and Senior Leadership teams. You will provide expert advice, guidance, and support on a wide range of HR issues, including capability, performance, and attendance.


Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

. Coach and develop management capability across various areas of the business.

. Provide support and guidance to managers to enable them to reach appropriate decisions, in line with Company policies, case law and legislation.

. Maintain effective Employee Relations processes by providing advice and guidance to our managers and wider team.

. Carry out and manage Employee Relations casework, such as grievances and disciplinaries.

. Ensure that the TUPE process is followed and the transition of TUPE in or out is managed accordingly.

. Support the Operational team with absences, including prolonged cases.

. Collaborating with the wider HR team to ensure consistency and best practice.

. Building relationships in the team across London sites, noticeably being the face of HR to our management team, site-based team and clients.


What Youll Need to Succeed:

Level 5 CIPD (desirable).

Minimum of 5 years experience in HR Management.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and multitask.

High organisational skills.

A good understanding of Employment Law and ability to apply knowledge.

Considerable working experience in HR function, preferably within the educational/catering background and have a hands-on approach.
