We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner for an outstanding opportunity to join a specialist team providing HR Consultancy to Public Sector organisations across the South & South East. Working remotely from home, you will be providing compressive HR advice and guidance across all aspects of complex employer relations, Investigations, Change, Job Evaluation, Policy, Terms & Conditions, and training. Key Duties -

  • Complex Employer Relations - Such as : Investigations, Grievance, Disciplinary, Performance, Bullying, Harassment, Whistleblowing, Capability, Dismissal and Tribunal
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance, including recommendations and reports
  • Potentially chair disciplinary & appeal panels
  • Change : Provide specialist advice and guidance to organisations across all aspects of change including - Redundancy, Reorganisation, Redeployment, TUPE Transfers including support with consultation, communications strategies and documentation.
  • Employment Legislation : Maintain your own knowledge of current and anticipated changes to employment legislation, regulations, codes of best practice and other advisory materials regarding employment matters. Prepare, revise and disseminate briefing notes and updates as appropriate to ensure communication of the implications of change, and that policies and procedures reflect best practice and legal requirements.
  • Employee Surveys and Job Evaluation and moderation where required and present findings in a report in line with the needs of the client.

  • Training : Design and deliver a variety of training to support Managers and also HR professionals on employment practice

Candidates

  • Were seeking an experienced HR professional who has a depth of HR knowledge and confidence to provide professional advice and guidance to organisations.
  • Substantial experience of Public Sector, Local Government or similar complex unionised environment
  • CIPD Qualified or relevant experience
  • Strong track record of undertaking complex employer relations case work including investigations, disciplinary, grievances
  • Experience of providing employment law advice and support
  • Experience of Change Management including redundancy and TUPE
  • Experience of working with Unions and unionised environments
  • Ideally experienced in Job Evaluation, Benchmarking
  • Demonstrable ability to design and deliver training events to a wide range of audiences.
  • Understanding of current employment law and its application.
  • Experienced in producing meaningful updates, reports and briefings
  • Customer focused with excellent communication and written skills.
  • Consultative in approach with the ability to provide professional HR advice and guidance
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills include complex formula, conditional formatting, charts
  • Ability to be proactive, confident and uses own initiative
