Job Opportunity: HR Business Partner (Local Authority)
Location: SE6 4RU, Hybrid (2 days per week office-based)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 6 months
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (35 hours per week)
Pay Rate: 29.66 per hour (PAYE)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join our clients team within a Local Authority setting. This role will support key HR functions with a focus on Employee Relations and Business Partnering to deliver effective HR solutions and guidance. The HR Business Partner will play a pivotal role in driving performance, providing strategic HR support, and contributing to initiatives that impact the community positively.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align HR strategy with departmental goals.
- Oversee Employee Relations cases, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and best practices.
- Support HR team members by setting performance goals and providing guidance.
- Implement HR initiatives within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience as a senior HR professional, ideally within a Local Authority or complex organisation.
- Strong track record in Business Partnering, with a hands-on approach to Employee Relations.
- Demonstrated experience managing a team and achieving performance objectives.
