People Advisor, 12 month FTC - Leading Regulator - London with hybrid working - £35,000This is a brand new role and an exciting time to join the People and Culture team. Reporting into the Senior People Partner you will support the full range of duties within the employee lifecycle, focusing on recruitment and providing HR advice and guidance.Your key responsibilities will include:-
- Acting as the first point of contact for HR issues including sickness absence; probation and flexible working
- Advising, planning and managing recruitment campaigns
- Supporting the delivery of their Learning and Development strategy
- Processing information about starters, leavers and changes on the HR system
- Monitoring and managing probation periods, sickness absence triggers and end of fixed term contracts within the system
You should be a People Advisor or HR Generalist with a track record of providing HR advice and guidance in a busy HR function ideally within the not for profit or charity sector. Experience of managing end to end recruitment campaigns and working with HR systems needs to be combined with a good knowledge of employment law. Strong communication skills are essential.
