As a People Business Partner, you will have the opportunity to deliver and embed a new people strategy within your designated business area. You will play a fundamental role in understanding the local landscape and challenges, enabling you to foster a supportive environment that empowers both colleagues and clients. You will have the opportunity to shape and influence the direction of the People Team, ensuring a cohesive approach that aligns with the organisation's mission.

  • Proactively coach and support managers, ensuring seamless delivery of key people-related initiatives.
  • Provide advice and support regarding complex employee relations and performance management.
  • Drive the people strategy within client groups, presenting innovative ideas to attract and retain talent.
  • Forge robust relationships, serving as a trusted advisor to deliver tailored people plans.
  • Manage workforce planning and identify developmental needs across the organisation.
  • Support end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new staff.
  • Utilise core people metrics to provide insightful analysis, promoting informed decision-making among management.

Candidate Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in a HR business partnering role within a charity or Not-for-Profit organisation.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and adept at complex stakeholder management to ensure the people strategy is delivered across the assigned business area.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and best practice in HR.
  • Experience in developing and implementing new innovative people related solutions and initiatives, as well as leading key people focused projects.
  • Previous experience of developing and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders across all levels and can influence and be the trusted advisor for your department.
  • CIPD professional membership or equivalent experience.
