PMO Portfolio Analyst

We are working with a national charity to recruit a PMO Portfolio Analyst. In this role, you will work alongside colleagues to effectively prepare for the launch of the organisation's new strategy later this year.

This position would be ideal for candidates with a strong background in the PMO space, as well as interest/experience in delivery.

Desirable: experience in the charity sector/working with volunteers

Rate: £300 - £350 per day dependent on experienceDuration: 3 months initially, likely to extend Location: Hybrid - up to 2 days per week in Central London office

Key deliverables:

  • Work with the business to establish projects resulting from the new strategy and ensure robust Business Cases / Project Initiation Documents (PIDs) are produced.
  • Assist in building the results framework for the new strategy, ensuring there is a clear link between project/programme activity, outputs, outcomes, benefits and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Strategy and the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) in the development of a clear benefits management framework/process for Transformation.
  • Work with colleagues within the Strategy department to ensure there is a clear link between the organisational 'Theory of Change' and project/programme benefits.
  • Enhance resource management processes to ensure any new projects are effectively resourced alongside existing Transformation projects
  • Ensure effective prioritisation and balance are applied to the Transformation portfolio as part of strategy sharpen.
  • Collaborate on the creation of a high-level 3-5-year roadmap for projects resulting from the new strategy.
