Are you ready to make a meaningful impact and play a pivotal role in shaping an organisation's people strategy? We're looking for a dedicated Senior HR Business Partner to join a multinational Retail business based in the area of North London.

This newly created role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead and manage a sizeable team of HR Business Partners and Advisors in addition to driving HR initiatives and supporting HR projects within a change environment.

As Senior HR Business Partner you'll be a trusted advisor, working closely with the Head of HR and leadership team to ensure that people strategy aligns with and drives business success.

With the ability to switch from managing low level ER to driving strategic change, you'll be happy to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in to what ever and wherever requires your support.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive Strategic HR: Lead and implement HR initiatives that support our ambitious business goals.
  • Employee Relations Expert: Guide managers and employees with insightful, proactive support on people matters.
  • Talent Champion: Collaborate with recruitment to bring in the best talent and help them thrive.
  • Engagement Guru: Cultivate a positive work environment that enhances employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Operational Lead: Oversee key HR functions, including performance management, learning & development, and team restructuring.
  • Inspire and Lead: Lead and manage a team of HR Business Partners and HR Advisors.
  • Stay Compliant: Keep our HR policies current and ensure adherence to employment laws.

What We're Looking For:

  • CIPD Level 5 (or above) or equivalent experience
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Proven experience in managing a team of HRBPs
  • A collaborative spirit and ability to thrive within a close-knit HR team
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, approachable nature that makes you a go-to person for support
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to navigate change with ease
  • Strong influencing skills and attention to detail
