Salt are recruiting for an immediate requirement with a central government client of ours who is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner.

This will be an Inside IR35 contract for 6 months initially. It would be a mainly remote role with 1 or 2 days a month expected in office, based in Exeter.

An active SC Clearance would be desirable for this position but is not a requirement.

Key responsibilities:

- Creating and delivering HR programmes and leading successful implementation to ensure the business has the culture, capacity and agility to meet current and future challenges.

- Coach, mentor and guide senior managers to build capability, resilience and performance in people/talent management to enable delivery of business results.

- Applying knowledge of business requirements, analytics, current trends and HR best practice to proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities to shape strategy and improve performance.

- Managing the relationship between the People Directorate and the business working together with directorate colleagues to source and deliver business focused solutions and share business insights.

- Building effective stakeholder relationships within the business, wider HR, and external stakeholders such as Trade Unions.
