Senior People Partner - Rail/Transportation - East London - £75,000This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior People Partner to join a forward-thinking organisation in the rail and transportation sector. This new Senior People Partner role will support and drive their people agenda as they grow and evolve. Reporting into the Head of People you will provide strategic, high-level HR support to senior leaders and key stakeholders across the organisation. Your key responsibilities will include:-

  • Partnering with senior leaders to define and deliver on the people strategy
  • Leading complex HR projects, from talent management to organisational design
  • Managing and developing a People Partner
  • Overseeing the day-to-day HR activities of the People Partner
  • Working closely with the Head of Talent Management and the Recruitment Manager to develop and implement strategies for attracting, retaining, and developing high-performing talent
  • Acting as a trusted advisor on complex employee relations matters and working closely with the trade union (RMT)
  • Leading organisational design efforts to optimise structure and enhance collaboration
  • Promoting a positive, inclusive, and supportive work environment

You should be a Senior People Partner or Senior HR Business Partner with a track record of driving organisational change, talent development and employee engagement initiatives. An in-depth knowledge of UK employment law gained working in a complex unionised environment needs to be combined with excellent stakeholder management skills. Experience of working in the rail or transportation sector would be beneficial but is not essential. You need CIPD level 7 qualified.
