We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Band 5 Occupational Therapist in South London, specializing in pediatric care. This role involves providing high-quality occupational therapy services to children, supporting their development and enhancing their daily living skills. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care and support to children and their families.

Note: The Trust uses only Direct Engagement mode of payment.

Description:

  • Work across health, education, and social services settings, combining the traditional roles of health and social services occupational therapists as part of an integrated service for children, young people, and their families.
  • Provide clinical expertise and advice on occupational therapy client care to colleagues and external agencies.
  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy assessment, management, treatment, and advice for a caseload of children with various developmental difficulties and/or disabilities.
  • Operate as an autonomous practitioner, adhering to the standards set by the Health & Care Professions Council and the College of Occupational Therapy.

Skills:

  • Strong clinical skills in assessing and treating a range of conditions.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective rehabilitation and discharge plans.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with community-based pathways is advantageous.
