Job Overview:We are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the acute medical team at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. This role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for patients in acute medical settings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- Facilitate timely discharge planning to support patient recovery and independence.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with NHS standards.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements:
- At least 2 years of acute medical experience.
- Previous NHS experience.
- A skilled Occupational Therapist ready to thrive in an acute medical setting.
