Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to support complex patient assessments and treatment at St George's Healthcare Trust. The successful candidate will work with a neurological and trauma caseload, conducting comprehensive assessments and contributing to discharge planning and specialist interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial, motor, sensory, cognitive, and functional assessments.
- Plan and deliver targeted interventions for complex neurological and trauma cases.
- Provide input on mental capacity decisions and collaborate on discharge planning.
- Work with specialist seating equipment and NHS pathways.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Proven experience with neurological and trauma caseloads.
- Strong knowledge of specialist seating, mental capacity decisions, and NHS pathways.
- Excellent communication, assessment, and organizational skills.
