Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the rehabilitation team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust. The role involves managing a caseload of 12-15 patients, supervising rehab support workers and students, and delivering evidence-based care to promote recovery and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs in an acute hospital setting.
  • Develop and deliver personalized treatment plans to promote recovery and functional independence.
  • Supervise and support rehab support workers and occupational therapy students.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers throughout the rehabilitation process.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to discharge planning using EPIC systems.

Key Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
