Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join the team at Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust. You will be responsible for delivering general Occupational Therapy services across acute care, rehabilitation, and complex discharge planning. This role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive comprehensive care and support through their hospital journey and transition home or to further rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions in acute, rehab, and discharge planning settings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
  • Support efficient and safe discharge processes.
  • Promote patient independence and recovery to enhance their quality of life.

Requirements:

  • HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Proven experience in acute care, rehabilitation, and discharge planning.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage a complex caseload independently.
