Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Band 6 Neuro Occupational Therapist to provide specialist OT services to patients with complex neurological conditions. The role involves working on general neurology and cardiac wards, with potential exposure to critical care and high dependency units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, treat, and plan discharge for patients with complex physical, cognitive, and emotional needs, including those with terminal diagnoses.
  • Provide evidence-based, patient-centred occupational therapy interventions.
  • Manage a specialist caseload while offering guidance to junior staff on complex cases.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient care and rehabilitation.
Requirements

? HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with NHS or equivalent experience.? Proven experience in neurology, critical care, or related settings.? Strong clinical reasoning skills to manage a complex caseload independently.? Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
