Are you a Children's OT who has experience in ASD?

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen in a school based in London. We are looking for a Qualified Occupational Therapist in education for 3- 5 days a week. a fair and manageable caseload is given and further training in your portfolio. The vacancy will be for an initial 3 - 6 months with potential for extension.

Main Duties for the Children's Occupational Therapist includes.

  • To provide a Specialist Occupational Therapy Service for children/young people who have Learnding disabilities ages 5- 11.
  • To assess the needs of disabled children/young people.
  • This is a great opportunity to grow within a leadership role.
  • To provide a specialist response and implementing intervention plans aimed at reducing the impact of disability.
  • An awareness of the importance of safeguarding vulnerable people, plus an understanding of the importance of dignity & respect when dealing with people.

To Be Successful

  • HCPC Registered Children's Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in Paediatric OT
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the needs of children with Autism, and experience in this environment and commitment to safeguarding children
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
