Locum Occupational Therapist (Band 6)

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (flexible working options available, e.g., 4 x long days)

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team in London. This role will focus on providing high-quality care within the Emergency Department (ED) and Acute Medical Unit (AMU). The position is temporary for 4 weeks with an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat patients with a range of physical and mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve daily living activities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
  • Document and review patient progress regularly.
  • Provide support and education to patients and their families.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist with relevant experience in ED/AMU settings.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
