The position is for a Band 6 Locum Occupational Therapist in North East London, starting ASAP.
This full-time role involves 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Candidates must have HCPC Registration and proven experience in the NHS, specifically in community-based care.
The role includes managing a diverse caseload, conducting assessments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience, which should include expertise in equipment ordering and moving and handling risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse caseload, delivering detailed assessments and tailored treatment plans for patients with complex physical and cognitive needs.
Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to set and achieve patient-centred goals.
Conduct comprehensive moving and handling risk assessments and recommend appropriate equipment to support patients’ rehabilitation.

Requirements:

HCPC Registration as an Occupational Therapist.
Proven experience in the NHS, specifically in community-based care.
Expertise in equipment ordering and moving and handling risk assessments.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with a commitment to patient-centred care.
