Position Summary:

  • The Hand Therapy & Plastic Surgery Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing specialized care to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and conditions affecting the upper extremities, with a focus on hand therapy and post-operative plastic surgery rehabilitation.

  • This role includes assessing patient needs, developing customized treatment plans, and working collaboratively with surgeons, other healthcare professionals, and the patients themselves to achieve optimal outcomes.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients referred from hand surgery and plastic surgery, evaluating range of motion, strength, dexterity, and functional limitations.

  • Utilize diagnostic and therapeutic techniques specific to upper extremity conditions, trauma, or post-surgical recovery, with a specialized focus on hand therapy and scar management.
