Position Summary:

The Hand Therapy & Plastic Surgery Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing specialized care to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and conditions affecting the upper extremities, with a focus on hand therapy and post-operative plastic surgery rehabilitation.
This role includes assessing patient needs, developing customized treatment plans, and working collaboratively with surgeons, other healthcare professionals, and the patients themselves to achieve optimal outcomes.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients referred from hand surgery and plastic surgery, evaluating range of motion, strength, dexterity, and functional limitations.
Utilize diagnostic and therapeutic techniques specific to upper extremity conditions, trauma, or post-surgical recovery, with a specialized focus on hand therapy and scar management.
