Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Childrens Occupational Therapist to work within Greenwich Council.

Job Purpose

  • Children's Occupational Therapy Social Care professional home assessments and interventions within legislation, RCOT and HCPC practice requirements.
  • Comprehensive functional assessments and interventions, including specialist equipment, adaptations, home safety and moving & handling provisions.
  • Working in a Social Care setting (based at The Woolwich Centre) with children with additional needs.
  • Multi-agency / partnership / consultative working and carrying out lone assessments in clients' homes, including safeguarding duties.
  • Major and minor adaptation recommendations and joint working with the Adaptations team.
  • Moving and handling equipment and plan provisions.
  • Specialist home assistive equipment assessments, recommendations and provisions.
  • Liaison between Health, Social Care, Housing and Voluntary services.
  • Duty Children's OT cover as required.
  • Represent service at community meetings.
  • Deputise for Advanced Practitioner Children's OT.

You will need to be:

  • HCPC registered
  • Eligible to work in the UK
