Senior Occupational Therapist

You will be an active member of the multidisciplinary team, providing a comprehensive therapy service.

You will work within professional standards and clinical guidelines to promote best practice and undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner, assessing and treating your own caseload of patients/clients while maintaining professional documentation.

Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining key relationships with referring embassies, GPs, acute providers, insurance companies, case managers, and other relevant parties to ensure appropriate referrals and understanding of the role of occupational therapy and the multi-professional team. Additionally, you will be responsible for supervising rehabilitation assistants, occupational therapy students, and junior staff.

In this role, you will also support self and service development through active participation in continuing professional development (CPD) and by participating in any audit or research being undertaken by the service.
