Our client is a London based Multi Academy Trust who is seeking an Occupation Therapist to join their staff team.  This is an exciting time to join a well- established trust who are going through a period of growth and expansion.This role is based near Lambeth but will require frequent travel across London and Essex.Salary for this role is up to £45k- please note that candidates without experience of working in an OT role with young people will not be considered.Duties for the role include, but are not limited to- 
  • Running individual and small group OT sessions
  • Working with young people across numerous sites
  • Developing the integrated therapy and learning policy across the trust
  • Carrying out staff training as required
  • Demonstrating best practice in relation to OT support and provision
  • Establish a long-term OT therapy provision across the trust
The ideal candidate for this role- 
  • has experience of working as an OT with Young People
  • will have completed an accredited OT Programme and is certified and registered by and to a relevant regulatory body
  • has worked with pupils with complex social, emotional and learning needs
  • is a proven team player
  • can offer relevant therapeutic interventions
  • has used key OT theories such as zones of regulation & sensory integration 
  • possesses an outstanding knowledge of OT
  • has worked with students with SEMH, PTSD, ADHD and ASD
