Our Local Authority Client are recruiting a locum Occupational Therapist for their Integrated Reablement Service, within adult social care, based in Tower Hamlets.
Occupational Therapist
3 month initial contract with the view of extension
£27.11 - £35.45p/h Umbrella
Located in Tower Hamlets, some remote working
Monday - Friday working with flexi time
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct rehabilitation programs for service users in the community.
- Collaborate with Reablement Officers (ROs) to deliver reabling care.
- Focus on preventing, reducing, or delaying the development of long-term care needs.
- Manage a varied caseload, including hospital discharges and community referrals.
- Apply casework and physical rehabilitation skills in a busy environment.
- Work within a strong, supportive team with access to excellent clinical support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Minimum 2 years experience as a qualified OT.
