Our Local Authority Client are recruiting a locum Occupational Therapist for their Integrated Reablement Service, within adult social care, based in Tower Hamlets.

Occupational Therapist

3 month initial contract with the view of extension

£27.11 - £35.45p/h Umbrella

Located in Tower Hamlets, some remote working

Monday - Friday working with flexi time

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct rehabilitation programs for service users in the community.
  • Collaborate with Reablement Officers (ROs) to deliver reabling care.
  • Focus on preventing, reducing, or delaying the development of long-term care needs.
  • Manage a varied caseload, including hospital discharges and community referrals.
  • Apply casework and physical rehabilitation skills in a busy environment.
  • Work within a strong, supportive team with access to excellent clinical support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a qualified OT.
